1955 BMW Isetta

April, 2012 § 1 Comment

Another little car originated in Italy, at the scooter and refrigerator company of Iso SpA.  Called Isetta, or “little Iso”, the car has a totally unconventional design that caused a furor at its introduction in Turin in November 1953. So it was licensed to branches worldwide, the main one being BMW.

It’s strange, but this “bubble car” still today is recognized and loved worldwide.
