1932 Bentley 8-Litre Short Chassis Mayfair Fixed Head Coupé

Nice Bentley car, of course in British Racing Green, trying to compete with the best 30’s cars as Duesenberg Model J, the wonderful Bugatti 57  series or the Rolls Royce Phantom II.

Unfortunately the released of the 8-Litre was bad timing, The Great Depression was taking its toll on luxury cars and Bentley was in a very tight financial situation.  After producing 100 cars… bankruptcy… and were bought by its rival Rolls Royce.  Rolls Royce and Bentley has been together until 1998 when VW bought Bentley, and BMW bought Rolls Royce.
