Recently sold for $22.5 million!  Nowadays the most expensive British automobile ever sold at auction.  It’s the first of five factory-built examples.  Legends like Carroll Shelby or Stirling Moss have raced with this iconic and gorgeous Aston Martin.

2016 Aston Martin Vanquish Zagato Concept

November, 2016 § Leave a comment

A new exciting design by Zagato, a gorgeous concept using a Vanquish. Zagato has been creating for this brand for at least five decades, some of them really nice like: 2011 Aston Martin V12 and 1961 Aston Martin DB4.

Enjoy the new design… I need one!!!

2016 Aston Martin DB11

A NEW Aston Martin. I mean not just a new design, it’s an all-new mass-produced Aston in more than a decade.  Also with a new V12 engine, welcome again Aston!

I really love 2015 DB10 design (from James Bond “Spectre” film). This DB11 seems a little bit uglier in every single view 😦    Probably the best view is the side one, a classic long hood with original silver strakes that flow uninterrupted from A- to C-pillar.

2015 Aston Martin Vulcan

Another new Aston on few days! This time with a bolder design, moving further from the classic grille massively copied by Ford.

Its an extreme limited-edition track-only car, only 24 Vulcans will be produced with a V12 engine with 7.0 liters and 800 horsepower.

I like the front fascia design, it remember me a little bit to the gorgeous italian DeTomaso Pantera.

2015 Aston Martin DB10

There is a lot of Ford Mondeo, Fusion, Fiesta even Ka! with the grille very similar to Aston Martin classical one.

Aston Martin needs to reinvent its design. They tried it in this DB10, with a new grille design, as its design director Marek Reichman says: “The grille doesn’t sit on the upper surface in any way. It’s all on a negative surface, like a shark’s face. The grille is all in shadow. There’s a darker feeling to the car.

I like this simple but sharp design of this new Aston, only built for the new 007 James Bond film.

1962 Aston Martin DB4 Cabriolet

Recently auctioned for about 1.5 millon USD, this nice Touring-styled Aston Martin DB4 established a look that would survive, with only minor revisions, until 1970. Aston Martin DB4 and DB5 are gorgeous, but even more in cabriolet versions. Enjoy.

Gran Turismo concept cars

I thought the videogames would be the only place where you can admire and/or drive classic cars. You know, sometimes it’s becoming hard to find good pics of some classic cars.

But now, videogames not only store the past of motor industry, they are also creating the future. One of the most important car’s videogame ever created, Gran Turismo, thru its creator Kazunori Yamauchi’s, ask manufacturers to build concept cars for his game version 6.  Results are so interesting because brands can imagine new car designs being free of restrictions or limitations.

A lot of brands has created a virtual concept or even a real one.
– 2013 Mercedes AMG Vision Gran Turismo,
– 2014 BMW GT6 Concept
– 2014 Subaru Vision GT
– 2014 Mitsubishi XR-PHEV concep
– 2014 Toyota Vision Gran Turismo (based on FT-1)
– 2014 Aston Martin DP-100
– 2014 Nissan Concept 2020 Vision Gran Turismo
– 2014 Infiniti Vision GT Concept
– 2014 Volkswagen Golf GTI Roadster Worthersee
– 2014 Chevrolet Chaparral 2X
– 2014 Mazda LM55

Even Red Bull, with tech genius Adrian Newey, has designed the RB X2014.
