Jean Bugatti was 22 when designed this exquisite Type 55 roadster, a model ranking among the finest sports cars of the 1930s. Only 13 of this two-seater roadster were builded. It’s gorgeous, but also is fast, accelerating from 0 to 100km/h in under 10 seconds, due to its 2,262 CC in-line 8-Cylinder engine with approximately 130 bhp.

Without doubts, Bugatti is one of the most important brands in car history, brought for us a lot of powerful, sporty, gorgeous and elegant cars.

You know I’ve falled in love with 30’s Bugatti. I posted the 57 Gran Raid and the 57SC Atalante Coupe Atlantic body. Now it’s the turn of another 57SC Atalante Coupe, an incredible yellow 200hp beauty. One of only 17 Atalante Coupés built with  its characteristic ‘kidney shaped’ side windows and the split rear window.

Bugatti it’s still live, it’s true, owned by Volkswagen-Audi group, and they are building the “one million dollar” car Veyron, but men, they’ve lost all the 30’s glamour and style.

Enjoy this wonderful car…

Anytime u listen “Bugatti” followed by the number 57… u r lucky! They were always very special and gorgeous cars, like Gran Raid or Atalante.

In that case, Carrosserie Gangloff  built this coupe over a Type 57S chassis.  For a lot of people, this extended tail and reshaped rear fenders means a improved design of the most famous “Atalante Coupe“. ¿What’s your opinion?
