With the same exquisite design than the last Mazda Concepts. Inside this car we should find a new rotary engine (generating power through the rotational motion of a triangular rotor). Mazda it’s the only brand to succeeded in commercializing the rotary engine fitting it in the 1967 Mazda 100S/Cosmo Sport. And also in 1991 took overall victory at 24 Hours of Le Mans with a rotary engine-powered race car.
Last rotary cars on the market were the RX-8 until 2012, and my loved 1991 RX-7.

One of my 90’s favorites, the Mazda RX7. Mazda (before Ford bought it) was know as the engineer’s brand, building a lot of interesting and advanced sport cars. Some of them affordables, so you can see it on the streets like the MX5, or Mx3. Who can see a LaFerrari or a Porsche 918 on the streets?
Designed for good handling: sequential twin-turbochanged front-midship engine, a 50:50 front-rear weight distribution ratio and low center of gravity. 252 hp of driving pleasure on a gorgeous design.

I thought the videogames would be the only place where you can admire and/or drive classic cars. You know, sometimes it’s becoming hard to find good pics of some classic cars.
But now, videogames not only store the past of motor industry, they are also creating the future. One of the most important car’s videogame ever created, Gran Turismo, thru its creator Kazunori Yamauchi’s, ask manufacturers to build concept cars for his game version 6. Results are so interesting because brands can imagine new car designs being free of restrictions or limitations.
A lot of brands has created a virtual concept or even a real one.

This car is part of automotive history. A car that always has been designed for the joy of driving: a cheap lightweight two-seater roadster, with front-engine and rear-wheel-drive layout.
A succesful car that keeps writing its history, now the fourth generation has arrived, 100kg less and a nice sportive design mixing flowing lines and sharp angles. Mazda has known how to keep alive the small 60s british and italian roadsters (Lotus Elan, Triumph Spitfire, Alfa Romeo Spider, etc.). Thanks Mazda!
The name Miata derives from Old High German for reward
